Web Designer ($500.00 – $800.00 per week)

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web pages that enhance user experience while ensuring functionality across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design and develop responsive web pages using tools such as WordPress, React Express, and PHP.
• Create wireframes and prototypes using Balsamiq and Sketch to visualize design concepts.
• Implement typography best practices to enhance readability and user engagement.
• Ensure web accessibility standards are met for all users, including those with disabilities.
• Utilize CSS to style web pages effectively while maintaining consistency in design.
• Integrate motion graphics to create engaging visual content that captivates users.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging of websites to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in WordPress, React Express, PHP, CSS, and web accessibility standards.
• Strong understanding of typography principles and their application in web design.
• Experience with design tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, and motion graphics software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in both design and functionality.
• Familiarity with development processes is a plus but not required.
• A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects is highly desirable.
