Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $25 - 35 per hour

We are seeking a Digital Content Specialist to manage large-scale content projects for our branded sites. In this role, you’ll build and publish content pages using the Universal Design System, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and usability standards. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements to the content management system (CMS). Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to effectively work with stakeholders and teams. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate large-scale content publishing projects for our suite of branded sites.
  • Build content pages using pre-defined widgets/components in the Universal Design System while adhering to brand guidelines, SEO and usability best practices.
  • Publish brand-approved content, including short-form, such as landing page components and call-to-actions and long-form, such as articles and blogs.
  • Ensure the consistency of content and visual presentation.
  • Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot website problems and test new features.
  • Suggest improvements for enhancing content authoring components within the content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to be able to work effectively with different stakeholders and teams, and to provide clear feedback.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in content publishing;
  • Strong competency in using content management systems (CMS), such as Kentico, AEM, WordPress or other similar tools;
  • General understanding of web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
  • Attention to detail, high standards of quality, and the ability to get things done in a reasonable amount of time;
  • Good eye for design and usability to be able to evaluate and improve the visual appeal and functionality of web content;
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Interactive Media is a plus
