About the position
The Frontend WordPress Developer will play a crucial role in shaping the digital presence of clients' brands by building visually dynamic and accessible websites. Responsibilities
- Build and customize visually striking, responsive WordPress websites with unique animations and seamless interactions.
- Research and share innovative approaches, tools, and design trends to enhance digital offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to translate strategic objectives into engaging web experiences.
- Sketch and code ideas, proofs of concept, wireframes, micro-interactions, and prototypes.
- Utilize AI-driven tools to write code, streamline workflows, and generate creative assets.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and inclusivity in all designs through human-centric design principles.
- Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and SEO best practices.
- Manage code repositories and maintain clean development workflows using GitHub.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development with a portfolio of innovative projects.
- Expertise in custom WordPress theme development.
- Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and animation libraries like GSAP or ScrollTrigger.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- A passion for experimenting with new web design techniques and staying ahead of industry trends.
- A collaborative and upbeat attitude that inspires team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- 3-5 years of agency experience.
- Experience building and launching multiple websites end-to-end.
- Familiarity with advanced interaction libraries (e.g., GSAP, Three.js) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects, SVGator, Lottie Creator).
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, image compression, lazy loading, and AJAX.
- Background in data-driven design or analytics-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
