UI/UX Designer

As a UI/UX Designer at MCT, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing our digital products. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analyst to create user-friendly interfaces and engaging user experiences. We’re seeking someone with a keen eye for design, a user-centered approach, and expertise in industry-standard design tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to make informed design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and experience across our product line.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing UI elements that align with the brand identity and product requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design standards, and emerging UI/UX techniques.
• Prepare and present design proposals and wireframes for feedback and approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a software company.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience with responsive design and designing for mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Company Overview
MCT is a growing software company that specializes in the development and support of crop processing software systems. We have successfully implemented and managed crop insurance software systems used to process over $1.6 billion in annual premiums (including MPCI and Crop Hail), supporting all FCIC approved crop/product combinations in the United States. We have two physical locations in Great Falls, MT and Amarillo, TX. We do offer the option to work from home, however preference will be given to applicants in the general area of these locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
