  • Ensure SEO program is an integrated, user-centric, component of the product and marketing strategy.
  • Maintain the utmost integrity and sustainability in SEO tactics, ensuring they’re user-centric and aligned with best practices and guidelines.
  • Identify SEO opportunities beyond Google Search to alternative search engines and emerging methods of discovery such as AI chat (i.e. ChatGPT) and social media (TikTok).
  • Lead large and small SEO projects, from technical maintenance to user-centric content hubs, product-driven landing page production, and more.

  • Manage a small team of SEO specialists and contributors.

You are someone who has:

  • Advanced technical SEO capabilities with the ability to oversee, but also participate in writing detailed technical requirements for the development group, audit, Q/A, and advise on implementations.
  • Extensive experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to accomplish goals; SEO, public relations, content, editorial, design, development, and product.
  • Experience optimizing more than just content but also aspects of page code (Core Web Vitals, structured data markup), video (on-site and off-site like YouTube), and graphics (on-site and off-site).
  • Experience designing SEO assets that have mobility across platforms and channels, for instance, data journalism that will resonate with the press, video that can stand alone on YouTube, and infographics that are shareable in social channels.
  • Leadership qualities that include effectiveness, optimism, responsibility, and a keen eye for team talent development and support.
