We're a growing digital agency seeking a skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team part time / contractor. If you're passionate about creating exceptional websites and enjoy collaborative problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Low Down:

  • Build New Sites from Scracth or one-off edits and maintenance
  • Could be 5 - 10 hours a week | Please have other contract clients
  • Take our designs from FIGMA
  • Expert in Elementor
  • Create Wordpress Website with Elementor builder
  • Make design edits to suit our vision
  • Be a website launch specialist, love DNS, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead WordPress development projects, including strategic planning and implementation of Custom Post Types
  • Enhance website performance and ensure accessibility compliance
  • Develop custom JavaScript solutions for UI elements and advanced functionalities
  • Create integrations with third-party APIs and implement custom search features
  • Manage data migrations for large-scale website projects
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to team members
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to hosting, DNS, and security
  • Research and recommend new technologies to improve our development processes

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in website development and management
  • Expert-level knowledge of WordPress, including its technical intricacies
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web frameworks
  • Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Docker, and web services
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Proactive approach to project management and client expectations
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining coding standards
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) Beaver Builder

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in most or all of the following: PHP, JavaScript, CSS, LESS/Sass, jQuery, React, Bootstrap, MySQL, Git, Docker, Gulp, OOP, Design Patterns, Extreme Programming, TDD, and Web Services

Additional Requirements:

  • Full-cycle website development experience, including DNS configuration
  • Remote work capability
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small business setting

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week

Compensation Package:

  • 1099 contract

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

  • WordPress: 6 years (Required)
