Jr. Web Designer

My Social Practice is a social media marketing agency that provides integrated social media & digital marketing solutions, training, and on-going support for dental and vision practices around the world. We’re looking for a passionate, well rounded, energetic Jr. Web Developer to create websites for our awesome website clients.

The Jr. Web Developer will work within our Website department to create Wordpress websites, revise and improve existing sites, troubleshoot design/development issues, and be accountable for the on-time launch of websites to our clients. Customer delight is our priority!

Primary Responsibilities

• Design: We are looking for an entry-level web designer who can customize options within WordPress templates to our client’s specifications.
• Development: We need someone who is well rounded at using WordPress (or other site builders) and can get their hands dirty with a little bit of HTML/CSS as well to accomplish slightly more advanced development techniques or troubleshooting where necessary.
• Communication: Position involves constant, daily communication with the team and some communication with clients.
• Organization: Looking for a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple client sites in varying stages of production efficiently and effectively.
• Team Player: Need to work well with diverse groups. Looking for someone with a positive attitude and the ability to keep the whole team environment positive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using WordPress (or other site builders)
• Experience working in the website industry or an agency production environment
• Strong knowledge of website design/development process
• Experience working with clients and project deadlines
• Fun, outgoing, and energetic personality
• Self-motivated, with the ability to take control of assigned projects and own responsibility
• Flexibility to switch gears when needs and priorities change
• Any knowledge of SEO terms/principles a plus
• General understanding of dental, orthodontic and optometric job responsibilities is a plus
