Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking an Applications Developer on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.


We are seeking a talented Application Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join the Business Intelligence and Enablement team within Professional Education and Program Services (PEPS). The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about building high-quality, innovative web applications that enhance user experience and connect teams functionality to webapp based tools. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying web applications that align with the business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong
  • optimization and functionality.
  • Migrate existing web applications into one platform to serve PEPS domain
  • Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web application development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web application development.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .Net, etc.
  • Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with development aiding tools (e.g., Git, Bower, Webpack, Gulp, etc.).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) a plus.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines a plus.
  • Experience in mobile app development is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
